Week Ten Review

Well it's been awhile. How has everyone been? Okay so there is only like three or four people checking this but oh well. It has been a busy couple of weeks, so last week wasn't all that busy after Monday but I enjoyed relaxing. Anyway on to football. ISU has suffered a couple tough losses. UNI bounced back and Iowa suffered a fatal blow.

Iowa State has had a tough couple of weeks. Against A&M we were still without our starting running back and quarterback. A&M has a good team that just plain rolled us. This past week well there isn't much positive to talk about other than our defense held OSU to second or third down on most sets. The offense on the other hand hardly ever got going and basically lived off of one big play. Over all the team came out flat and got rolled by a very talented, very fast Oklahoma State team that is quite possibly the second best team in the conference. On the good side we did get starters Austen Arnaud, Reggie Stephens, and Alexander Robinson back. However none of them were at complete full strength which will have to change as an interesting Colorado team comes to town next Saturday at 1:00PM.

UNI well I believe they won, I'm too lazy to look it up or anything.

The hawks biggest loss of the season was not losing to Northwestern but most likely losing Ricky Stanzi for the rest of the regular season. I truly believe that Iowa would have won if they had not lost Stanzi. I have not seen much well any of the game except of the play that Stanzi got hurt, but I hear that they were putting a mostly complete game together which is what they needed to do to jump into the top three, that just wasn't to be though. Blame it on what you may Stanzi, the si jinx, or just god's will. They have a very tough game this week at the horse shoe, especially for an inexperienced quarterback.

11 DAYS UNTIL THANKSGIVING BREAK!!! 5 DAYS UNTIL THE SKILLET CONCERT! GO STATE!!! GOD BLESS!!!
