So if you have not heard the Cyclone football team played a long tough game to defeat the Minnesota Golden Gohpers 14-13. It wasn't pretty but it was a win. The trip was long but 30 hours after we started we got to the resort in Tempe. The hotel and grounds were amazing, we stayed at the Marriot Butes Resort in Tempe, it is built into two buttes that overlook the metro, the Anaheim Angels spring practice facility was also right behind the hotel. Enough with that, tens of thousands of Cyclone fans made the trip down and cheered the Cyclones onto a victory. We set a new record for number of people at a pep rally at the Rawhide western town, and also had around 10,000 people at a pep rally a few hours before the game. All in all it was a great trip and a great step forward for our University, Athletics Department, and Football Program. Next year will be tough but I think we will be able to win enough games to become bowl eligible and upset at least one team. GO CYCLONES!!!
Good luck to the hawks tonight, I am more than tired of all the emphasis put on this game, several news stations sent three or four people to cover the Iowa game while sending no one to cover our game. Yes I have some jealousy but past that there is a thing called media ethics and covering everyone equally. Oh well money comes before ethics in everything these days. Again good luck I think you will win by around 14.
Hope everyone is having a great start to the year! My resolution is to lose weight, I started around thanksgiving and have already lost a few pounds. GO STATE!!! GOD BLESS!!!
